Frequently asked questions
Is the first assessment really free?
Yes. For new clients the first assessment – before filing a claim, or of an appeal – is free and without commitment. Further assessments and detailed analysis are at a fixed fee agreed in advance.
Which disputes do you assess?
Civil and commercial disputes before Czech courts: unpaid receivables, contract disputes, damages, shareholder disputes, employment disputes, real-estate disputes. I do not assess criminal matters.
How accurate is the assessment?
Accuracy grows with the number of similar disputes in the database and how well you describe yours. For typical disputes I work with dozens to hundreds of comparable decisions. I always state the size of the sample I rely on.
What do you need from me?
A few sentences about the dispute, the amount and the counterparty. If a claim or judgment already exists, attach it – the assessment will be considerably more precise.
Do you have to represent me afterwards?
No. The assessment commits you to nothing. You can take it to your own lawyer, or decide not to litigate at all.
Is my information safe?
Yes. As an attorney I am bound by professional secrecy, the form runs over a secure connection, and I use your data solely to assess your dispute.
